The Daisy Chain is a Hamlin graduation tradition, going back to the earliest days of the School. Current Head of School Wanda M. Holland Greene explained the meaning behind the daisy chain at the graduation ceremony of the class of 2013: “At The Hamlin School, the daisy chain signifies the beauty and continuity of the friendships formed here, as well as the mantle of leadership that has been carried by the Class of 2013 and must now be passed to the Class of 2014.”
